Tanzania in November: Short Rains, Green Season Begins, and the Cheapest Safari Weeks

November is when Tanzania’s short rainy season (vuli) arrives. Dar es Salaam as a city destination: Tanzania’s commercial capital is underappreciated as a destination. The Kariakoo market is East Africa’s largest traditional market, the Msasani craft market is excellent for Tanzanian artisanship, and the Bongoyo Island marine reserve (ferry from Msasani) has good snorkeling. November is functional year-round city, not a seasonal matter.
